As a not-for-profit organisation, SME4SPACE is committed not only to support SMEs in Europe’s space industry, but also to create an inclusive and fair environment for its employees, collaborators and companies in Europe as a whole.

To achieve this, by decision of its Board of Directors, SME4SPACE has drafted and implements a Gender Equality Plan (GEP) that is reviewed every three years

For 2022 –2025, the objectives were defined following the SMART approach, making objectives Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Traceable:

  • Better gender staff representation aiming for a 50%/50% divide men and women;
  • Increase the number of women present in the Board of Directors with at least 2 women present in the board by the end of 2025 (current situation is 5 Board Members 100% men).
